Double Major in Computer Science and Natural Sciences

I worked in a team of 2 other software engineering interns and our major project was to refactor WhatsBusy's existing codebase. We worked using agile development methodologies. I worked on the backend using Django, PostgreSQL for the database and Redis for caching. I deleted unused code related to obsolete models, forms and apps in the Django project while implementing regression tests to ensure everything worked fine. I also worked closely with the testing and quality assurance (QA) team to improve the quality of the website. The tasks I performed while working with the QA team included fixing CRUD bugs where deleted users could still login. I also worked on the frontend by changing the color of form error messages to red using Bootstrap 4 alerts.
